"Gross rooms. Stained up sheets and ripped blankets. Common areas were nice but the rooms were outdated and GROSS. Rooms were musty. These reviews on here were misleading. Night manager gave me the creeps. 2/10 cockroach motel! Was scared to even put bags on the floor not worth $160 a night"

"Breakfast wasn’t open till 7:30 Waited 10min for a staff to come to the front desk for check in, with no explanation. Other wise will stay again "

"This hotel is exactly as advertised. It is a beautiful, quaint, elegant hotel in the middle of downtown Sedalia. They have really done a lot to maintain the original construction as much as possible. The food in the Oak Room was 5 stars and moderately priced. Excellent walking distance to almost anything you would like to see. The downtown architecture is beautiful. Would definitely return."

"The cabin itself was very cozy and worked perfectly for our stay. I know if we were here in the regular season it would be amazing. However, since it was the off season and in a super cold snap there was some issues with keeping hot water. But we loved it. The people were great. The property managers were very nice and thoughtful. We were able to visit our family and it worked out great. I am happy to recommend this place to others. "
