"Very basic.. definately not to stay long term..as overnighter just needing a place to stay ok. Bathroom had cracks and mould. No seating outside rooms to enjoy a smoke or coffee. Was going to have dinner at the onsite chinese but on looking at google was hit and miss. No offering from reception of local eats or shopping. No cooking facilities. Overall was ok. Probably would not stay again."
"Staff went above and beyond with allowing myself & my partner to be able to check in after final check in time.
I’ve always enjoyed every stay and have been a guest many times."
"Very disappointing experience. We paid around $500 for two nights plus $80 for parking, but there were no towels or shampoo, no iron or microwave in the room, and breakfast was not included. On our last night, my children and I could not sleep because guests were running, laughing, and talking loudly in the hallway around 3:00 AM, with no action from management. Overall, the service and facilities were not worth the price."
"I think the big problem they have the staff is the same as everywhere else. Young staff inexperienced that have been thrown in the deep end to deal with people that obviously have travelled and now know how it works and some points are disappointing. When the young staff don’t listen to the orders i.e. the dining room when two meals arrive and one person sits there because the order was never taken at exactly the same time how this happens. I don’t know but the problem was resolved."
"Clean room close to info centre and nice day walks! TV did not have free to air connected & shower temperature not consistent. Room was well looked after and easy check in."
"The staff member at the front desk was abusive, she made a number of threats towards me and refused to leave my room it took 8 minutes of her abuse before she exited the room the n started harassing me and my partner by standing outside our room at our door for long amounts of time just listening to us this was all caught on hotel security cameras. And I paid $624 to stay there 6 nights and that's hoe I was treated"
"The rooms were obviously recently renovated and looked nice.
The staff were helpful and the room was clean when we arrived.
Unfortunately, the lack of doormat meant the floor was quickly gritty from shoes.
There was a kettle but it didn’t fit under the tap which was a bit of a nuisance.
And there were no hooks at all to be able to hang towels to dry."
"Well maintained, vintage building with ditto style. Very friendly reception, very good bed, the room and bathroom was not very spacious but good enough for this single traveller."
"I like where the Nepean Gateway is situated. You have the river and park opposite & restaurants just up the road. So many activities close by. It’s also quiet."
