"A quick walk to the train station and ferry ports. It's also super close to the main town which offers a lot of dining options. Although the reception is located by the main street, you need to go up several steps beside the building to get to the back where the rooms are located. There's also no elevator so be prepared to lug your bags up and down some stairs. Very good options for breakfast (mostly cold, with scrambled eggs and bacon offered) but quite a generous spread. Could not find fault with the room or service and the free tea,coffee,cake, croissants in reception was very nice although personally I missed having a kettle in the room. "Do NOT ever book this hotel. I booked and paid for my room in FULL 1 month ago. There was a large car event in Lake Como.. Well…….. 3 nights before my arrival. They emailed to say they Could Not Honor my stay!!!! I had already paid in full. Do NOT ever book this hotel. "
