We stayed two nights and enjoyed the continental breakfast of which there was plenty. The staff are lovely and with the help of google translate we got by. Don’t rely on here for lunch or dinner as there is no restaurant as we know it, only a breakfast room and lounge but we ate across the road in a neighbouring hotel. We would stay here...

"We have stayed in the Metropole many times on the last night of our holiday. New to the room was a kettle, tea & coffee. A good from us. We particularly like staying here, because there is a locked garage, so we feel safe leaving things in the car on our final night in France."

"Stayed here for just 1 night as we were off to Plopsaland the next day. Really lovely hotel, very clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful too. Parking can be a little tricky, but we managed to get parked in the orange zone which was right outside the hotel. Plus Plopsaland was just 10 mins away, so super convenient!!"

The room was a little surprising - bed were good - bathroom a little small. There was no water cooker to make a tea - no mugs to have a drink. The TV has only French programs [no other languages [no English no German no Spanish and no Dutch]. I would have look at my laptop but we were not given a wifi code.
