"Location was great, room was clean"

"I stood for a wknd solo trip at Hotel Fron. The rooms lighting wasnt that great. The bathroom was extremely small with no sink space at all. The staff was very very nice. However, upon leaving, I asked the hotel staff how to go about ordering a cab to the airport; which was ordered for me by the hotel. Upon arrival at the airport, I was charged $160 for a 45 min car ride. Of course I paid it but I felt completely robbed and overcharged."

"Lovely hotel in perfect location. Short walk into Reykjavik. We were pleased to be away from centre and to avoid potential noise late at night. Hotel staff were courteous and able to book our return journey to KEF airport. If we returned to Reykjavik we would certainly return to this hotel. Rooms were warm, we had room at rear of hotel overlooking garden area, away from traffic. "
