"We ended up with an 80 Euro parking fine because the staff didn't have enough sense to tell us how the parking lot in back of the hotel worked (what the rules were). For the sake of having parked 12 minutes "early" before 6 PM on Friday night, we ended up with an 80 Euro fine even though we moved our car by 9 AM and leave on Saturday, as we were instructed to do. Hotels should either provide guest parking, or else clearly instruct guests as to the necessary procedures."

"Excellent hotel and although I would've expected a more "standardised" room, i.e boring furniture, I was very pleasantly surprised. The furniture was cute, the bed and room comfy, the bathroom nice and the room had a little fridge to keep things cool. Staff were nice and check in absolutely uncomplicated. "

We had driven through awesome mountain scenery and arrived at the hotel to be greeted by George (can't spell the Spanish version) who gave us a history of the area. The rooms were simple but very comfortable, with a bed that we didn't want to get out of! There were 6 rooms in an outside block, each with a small patio area and chairs and a mountain view. "We booked to stay in Hotel Santa Cruz for one night and had a nice stay. It was as described with welcoming staff. The location is good, close to free parking and easy to walk to restaurants and bars in town. We booked an economy room, which was indeed basic, but it was a very reasonable price so I am fine with that. The shower was hot and had very good water pressure. "

"Views are amazing, best views I’ve ever seen of mountains . Was to be a 1 night stopover but instead stayed 2. Hotel was a bit tricky to fine only problem but the views and free parking would stay here again . Highly recommend to others."
