"We had an amazing stay at Eiger Lodge. It's half hostel and half hotel which is convenient for all types of travellers. We stayed in the hotel part and it was very clean. Beautiful views and very kind and helpful staff. One restaurant on site and had to bus or walk to others nearby. Would highly recommend staying here if you want to be in the mountains. "

"Everything was great with the hotel... except AVOID the restaurant. The food was fine, but it was 2x the price it should have been. For $30 swiss francs, I got a plate of mostly rice with a little chicken tikka on top. I also had to pay extra for naan which was not fresh. We were the only people in there and there no chance they made everything we ordered from scratch based on how fast it came. "

"This is a hotel just a couple of minutes walk from the train station and just across from the bus terminal. The rooms are well appointed with a fridge, hot water kettle and a table fan. The staff is extremely helpful and gave us excellent suggestions for excursions. There is a coffee machine in the lounge and there is an elevator Can get a bit noisy due to location. Take a room on a higher floor with mountain views"
