"Very charming and spotless room. The only issue was to be informed the swimming pool was closed. This should be informed during the reservation. In the beginning of the Autumn - 1st October was very hot in Menaggio ( 24oC ). After an argument with the reception they accept for me to use the swimming pool. A lot of rules regarding the restaurant area and guest areas. The approach was quite rude and confuse in my opinion."
"This was our fourth stay at Hotel Regina. We have previously enjoyed visiting and even recommended the hotel to friends, who stayed there for two nights.
Unfortunately, our latest experience was very disappointing.
Due to an unexpected family emergency, we had to shorten our stay by one night. We contacted the hotel hoping for some understanding and flexibility given these exceptional circumstances and our history as returning guests.
Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the management’s...
"Extremely pleasant and attentive team. Very helpful upon our arrival by delayed trains and monitoring to assist us with check-in. Excellent views and away from crowds, but still accessible."
"We loved it... Super clean well maintained classic hotel. Friendly staff which appeared to be the family owned business.... Definitely using them again in the future.. 🤗"
"Everything perfect for a stay. Parking was easy, staff was great, dinner was superb! Morning breakfast was excellent with the most beautiful views ever! Short walk down to the water for more beautiful camera shots. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"
"The Hotel Posta Maltrasio was a great stay. Do not get this hotel confused with Hotel Posta Design. Design is in downtown Como. Maltrasio is up the hill with great views.
The staff at this hotel was wonderful, led by the front desk wonder, Theresa. She was more than great. Whatever you do, get to know her, and she will be the guide you need.
The room was good, typical size for Europe, but well kept. Some would say the rooms are old -- it's an Old hotel, not a brand new W on 59th st. in NYC....
"Loved the overall ambiance. Wonderful restaurant setting on the terrace. On the water. Balcony was great. The only negative was a very uncomfortable mattress.
Restaurant food was excellent!!"
"Amazing staff across the hotel, restaurant, and lake side area. Clean rooms and great food. Plenty of water activities that were included (kayaking, paddle boarding, water trampoline) as well as reasonably priced wakeboarding/surfing prices as an add-on."
"A fantastic hotel right on Lake Como. The staff were amazing and really helpful. Close to the Ferry and other boat trips. Also good bars and restaurants, Close to Pigna aerial but was too cloudy for us to go up."
