we were upgraded to a 3 bedroom cabin , due to works being completed on the cabin we had booked , the location is perfect and although we’ve never stayed here in winter before the park was busy enough to hold the holiday atmosphere.
My kids are young adults and enjoyed the mini golf and games room ."

"The hotel is an old building so don't expect the rooms to be modern...having said that there was everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable and warm and the included breakfast was more than adequate.
Check in was super easy.
Be aware that there is a flight of steps to go up to all rooms so if mobility is an issue this could be a little tricky
The bathrooms are shared but are close to all rooms and the showers were nice and hot.

"My impression of the Big 4 Big River Holiday Park was a disappointment, over priced for what was on offer. This Park was tidy, but lack shaded areas or greenery, has a very mediocre (small) size gated swimming pool. The two bedroom cabins are very small containing a matchbox size bathroom, the shower floor tiles are extremely slippery, with the shower hot and cold water hard to regulate. The slope down to the riverside from the cabin was too steep if for anyone mobility issues. On the positive...
"Fantastic facilities. The pool area is excellent and caters for the whole family. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended for either camping or hiring the cabins."
