"We stayed here for 1 week and made the most of it despite some things that were lacking. Our room was okay aesthetically and had a great shower and air con. The breakfast was okay, very basic, and the views from the terrace are beautiful out to sea. We usually like to sit around the pool and have a few drinks in the evening but the bar was only open for drinks on request up until 3pm, if you can find a member of staff that is. The staff, whilst trying to be pleasant, you get the feeling they...

"This is a special, peaceful and relaxing place. Vasily is an attentive host and gave us plenty of great recommendations for places to visit locally. He was proud to share his Cretan history and eco-farming techniques with us. We thoroughly recommend his farm tour. We ate our breakfast and evening meals at Dalabelos, enjoying the home grown and locally sourced food, beautifully prepared by Maria. Overall, this is a lovely spot for people looking for a peaceful and restorative place to stay...

"When we arrived were told that thebooking had not come through to them, but were immediately made welcome and were shown to a lovely spacious apartment overlooking the pool, with a sea view."
