"The room was basic but clean; extra pillows would have been nice (only one for each bed). However, the dining room was outstanding for dinner. I had a perfectly cooked cod dish, and my husband had a very yummy black pasta dish. The staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast buffet compared well with all other hotels we visited, they all seem to have a standard selection, which is perfectly fine."
"Free breakfast buffet in the hotel main building. But the room for 4 is quite small which doesn’t really matches the photo in the website. Just a few minutes walk to the port for a boat ride to hornstrandir."
"Favorite place I’ve stayed in so far in Isafjordur. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast has a nice variety and location was quiet. I would stay here again!"

"Unfortunately the owner was unable to accommodate us, but did not communicate this with us. Only when we arrived and found it dark/closed up and reached out to him did we find out. He was very apologetic, but this lack of communication left us scrambling for a place to stay and an extra hour of driving. Not ideal. "
