"It’s a 200 plus year old listed building so a little old fashioned and quirky. I was initially in room 9 but Patricia the owner moved me to room 1 because when the bar is busy at weekends room 9 is pretty noisy until 1130 or so. Room 1is very peaceful. Excellent food at the Olive Retreat 5 minutes walk away. Everything you need is close at hand. The staff are delightful. If I find myself in the area I would return. "

"Stayed one night on road trip around south-west Scotland. Easy entry to property using key code. Room clean and well kept. Although no dedicated parking to problem with on street parking near the hotel. Great breakfast and staff helpful and friendly. Would stay again."

"Lovely clean caravan on a quiet very well kept site. Lots to see and do around the area, we had a fantastic 3 night stay. Lounge area spacious and double bed very comfy. Only thing I would say is that the twin beds are small my teenagers were too big to get comfy, would be OK for younger children."
