"The only negative was we were not informed that they do not provide food on Sunday or Monday evenings but there are places within a 5 min drive. The room was very clean and bed was very comfy. As it was exstreamly warm we were provided a life saver fan. All staff were very welcoming and attentive and worked very hard. We had no noise at night as it’s situated in a quite village. "Nice location, quiet room, mostly clean, pleased to see there was a fan available. We were disappointed that the pub doesn't serve food on a Monday night. We missed breakfast as had to leave before 8am. Decent place to stay, would go again. A little tight for parking but worked out okay."

"We were attending a gig a Ludlow Castle, most accommodation was booked or expensive at Ludlow for the night of the gig so we chose to stop at Stokestay Hotel because there was a train station close that we could catch there and back. The Stokesay staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tidy, breakfast was excellent and bar prices good so we would not hesitate to stop there again."

"Ample parking at front of property. Staff very welcoming and polite. The room was great with a view of the gardens, which were lovely to walk around. The building had character. The meal in the restaurant was fabulous as was breakfast, and the service excellent. 5 stars. Will definitely stay here if in the area again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😁👍"

"The hotel is nice for a short stay however could do with a few upgrades but generally well maintained.
When we arrived we had a very warm welcome and throughout the stay our 2 dogs were made to feel relaxed and happy.
The shower in the room was so small you struggled to move about and the shower gel provided even though smelt lovely was obviously watered down. The best thing about the room was the bed which was very comfortable.

"What a wonderful local pub that is dog friendly. The owners / managers and the staff were friendly, helpful and nothing too much. Chatty locals. Locally sourced super home cooked food and locally brewed IPA. Clun is a nice village for a wander around after dinner. Last minute booking before rally driving would definitely visit again"
