"Good hotel to stay 1 night."

"Clean room, comfy beds, friendly staff, and good food."

"Good service, very central to see all towns in La Vera regions. The in-house restaurant is very good. "

"Nice country side hotel for those that would like to be close to nature."

"Staff very friendly. Magnificent setting for a hotel in the town. Highly recommended "

"Quiet and relaxing with great restaurant. Central located in the town of Garganta la Olla. Amazing scenic routes to el Valley del Jerte "

"awful place. We ended up here because accommodation in Cuacos was sold out. In hindsight we should have continued on to Plasencia. Room above a bar. When we stayed here the bar was closed, not sure if that was good or bad, as it meant no food (hardly anywhere in town) but also no noise. Room is very basic and not clean at all!"

"The owners, Nicolas and Jose Luis and their families, were amazing, kind and generous hosts. We learned so much about the area and the culture of the Sierra de Francia. It is close to Madrid and an easy weekend getaway. "

"Traditional style hotel. Beautiful setting. Clean and great value deal. Room, 3 course dinner and breakfast. Would definitely recommend and we are very likely to return. "

"We spent two nights at La Covacha in July and it was an excellent Casa Rural. The owner greeted us and she gave us a lot of good information and amongst other things good directions for two walking trips with fantastic bathing opportunities in the Gargantas. The pool was nice and so was the mini pond with frogs. The large room was clean and breakfast was good as well."

"Nice and clean accommodation with a tasty breakfast"

"very nice place to stay if you are looking for peace."
