"So, we booked this hotel because of the location near Isola Bella. Hotel is not updated, does not have parking, although there is paid parking lot adjacent but not connected to property and only open 8:30am to 7:00pm. Cars/motorcycles noise all day/night, and very limited parking to even get your luggage on and off, your car or taxi, and no walkway to walk to funicular/beach: you have to walk in the street with cars/motorcycles speeding by your side. For me it was stressful. Funicular to the...
"Hôtel un peu vieillissant, chambre avec intérieur, un peu démodée mais le personnel il est très gentil et les petits déjeuners y sont bons.
L’emplacement est très très bien."
"Beautiful balcony with garden view and we could also see Castelmola! Configuration of the room wasn't the greatest. There was no space to put our second luggage but we made it work. Shower had neon florescent lighting which was different. Also, didn't really care for the shower curtain, for an upscale hotel would think there would be a glass shower door. Loved the location, walk down the stairs and you arrive at the Duomo!"
"The staff is wonderful, friendly, and accomodating. The location couldnt be better...sits right on Corso Umberto. Just make sure you tell your driver to drop you off at the arch/taxi spot when you arrive. My driver dropped us off on the opposite side of the hotel and expected us to walk down 50 stairs with luggage. An amazing hotel in an amazing city!"
"Hotel Donna Rosa is one of the most wonderful hotels I’ve had the pleasure of staying at. Their hospitality is unmatched and they will go above and beyond to help you during your trip.
The breakfast is also another highlight, fresh bread, pastries, meats & cheeses, juice, and fruit and a full service espresso bar.
The location is perfect for traveling around Sicily and is a very short walk to the beach. Plenty of free street parking in front of the property and by the beach.
When we come...
"Lovely B&B in Trappitello. A few minutes walk to the bus to take you to Taurmino. We found the bus easy to use and straightforward. This is a family run B&B and we found everyone to be so kind and helpful. Great communication on WhatsApp and helpful videos for check in. Great Sicilian breakfast for 7 euros. Would definitely stay here again. There is a really nice steakhouse, 5 minute walk. We found it very reasonable and food was delicious. We had the lamb! They have horse meat too but we...
"Jonic Hotel was a decent place to stay on our budget considering how expensive Taoromina is. It has great access to the beach and to the cable car which takes your up to the main area of Taoromina. We are glad we stayed by the beach instead of up in the town. The hotel is well maintained and clean. The room was a little small but we had a balcony with a view of the water which was a nice bonus as we were not able to book a beach view room. The staff were helpful even with the language barrier....
"We had the best dinner of our whole trip at the borgo, and for a very reasonable price!
But an important negative point of the accomodation is that it is right next to the highway between Catania and Messina, with traffic noise day and night."
