"For the price, this property was good. A little tired- but has a cozy feel, like your aunt’s house in Des Moines. There were no frills- a bed, shower, tv and there is no elevator - but it’s only 2 floors. Location is perfect for exploring Aveiro. Drawbacks- it was very cold in our room. There was a plugin heater, but it just wasn’t cutting the cold and damp . Saving grace - 2 huge thick wool blankets in the closet. Breakfast was simple and the coffee was great. "The restaurant is a bit of a scam … there is no price and you end up being charged for things you either didn’t eat or didn’t know was charged … this is very dishonest … never seen that in any other hotel in Portugal during my stay … shady !!!"
