"This hotel says it is 4 star hotel. I would definitely not agree. The location is beautiful nature area near the water but the property is in serious need of attention. The immense amount of cobwebs in the pergola covered walking areas and dead vegetation in the gardens was frankly depressing and creepy. The carpet was in need of replacement 20 years ago easily. The staff was very friendly, offered to make us a reservation, and front desk is operational 24 hours a day. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were clean and soft. "The landscape was so beautiful. It is exactly what you expect to stay in a country side style. The rooms are a little outdated but it wasnt uncomfortable. There's no AC so we did have to have the windows open and got a couple mosquito bites. The bikes were free and so was the breakfast. The breakfast buffet was so delicious and fresh. We couldn't believe the speard they provided: ginger shots, bacon cooked perfectly, delicious sausage, fresh cut cheese, yogurt parfait, unlimited coffee and tea....

"Such a cute and peaceful property. When I booked I only saw pics of the room, so I was pleasantly surprised to see how lovely the courtyard was. The outside of the building looks original and well maintained, while the inside looks like a brand new hotel room. I appreciated the games provided including giant chess, ladder golf, table tennis, air hockey, and table football. Note that linens are not included but can be rented; and check in is from 15:00 to 17:00; so plan accordingly. "
