"This is an old hotel in the centre of Kilkenny within close walking distance to the castle. shopping and other sights. We loved the character of the hotel especially the bar and dinning room. The food was good, we had breakfast and dinner the two days of our stay.
Our room was in the newer part of the hotel and was very comfortable. We especially liked the bathroom, great shower and plenty of room for your toiletries. The one drawback was the fact that there were no lifts so stairs needed to be...
"Struttura a pochi passi dal centro con parcheggio privato. La nostra camera aveva ben 5letti. Peccato per il bagno con vasca senza vetro ma con tenda, non molto igienica. Colazione abbondante e buonissima"
"Stunning, clean smelling room that was immaculately prepared. The bed was very comfortable. Shower had plenty of hot water and power. Breakfast was delicious."
"Good-sized room, restaurant & bar on site, pool and spa facility. Also, outdoor laundromat across parking lot—expensive but useful, and a small food court & petrol station attached.
No refrigerator in the room—felt the kack of that."
"Very nice staff and extremely comfortable bed. Restaurant on property was excellent. Breakfast was a particular standout on this trip....Best scrambled eggs we've ever had. Everyone from the front desk to the waitstaff in the restaurant and the cleaning staff were polite, kind and courteous."
"Our stay was excellent filled with Irish hospitality at its finest. Our meals were wonderful, accommodations for gluten free was met with ease and tasty. Breakfast was delicious and the service again was outstanding. Our room was newly renovated with very comfortable beds, clean with the added bonus of a common kitchen area where we were able to play cards comfortably. Lucas was outstanding and helpful with directions, recommendations and a large bag of ice for us Canadians.
Great location."
"Staff were exceptionally polite and willing to help. Breakfast was delicious.
Room is spacious and clean. It was a little warm to sleep in, however, that could be personal choice. "
"Beautiful property and a good place to refresh after a long flight. Quiet, owners were nice, and scones waiting for us upon arrival. 'True Ireland' location."
"The property was lovely and clean with all the amenities needed. Just requires a new mattress as it was so soft and impossible to sleep 2 adults
The shower was difficult to use and temperature and pressure was not great"
"A beautiful quaint cottage apartment! Beautifully decorated. Spacious! Away from the hustle & bustle of the city.
I loved the outdoor patio space -although there were a couple of cats that kept trying to come near me when I was sitting outside. (I’m allergic to cats.). Communication was great -quick exchanges. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy more time at the cottage. We were there 2 nights and the days were spent in Kilkenny sight-seeing."
"We stayed 2 weeks. We loved it! If you have never driven in Ireland, I recommend staying off the roads that start with an R as much as possible. This place has two ways in and out of for sight seeing. When you exit the gate, turn left. Best way to go anywhere.
The place is quiet, and very comfortable! Mel, the owner was amazing and very quick to answer questions and tend to our needs. This place has everything, so not much was needed. Shopping is less than 4 miles away. Food and Kilkenny, are...
"Nore View House is set in an idyllic country setting, quiet and beautiful. My family and I stayed for 8 nights and traveled around Ireland each day. The accommodations were clean and everything we needed was there. Our host, Fergus, was welcoming and we enjoyed talking with him. He gave us some suggestions for dinner and places to visit they were spot on. If we needed anything we only had to call him. It was such a relaxing place to return to each evening, where we could sit and talk about...
