"I loved everything about this hotel - room was a good size with a very comfortable bed. Bathroom was nice with good lighting (rare in many hotels.) Breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices. The staff was friendly and helpful. When we needed the right connectors, were able to borrow from them. When it was raining, they offered umbrellas. The location was perfect, as we could walk to the train station. Besides that, all major sightseeing were close by. Just perfection! I highly recommend...

"Just amazing. I was blown away by the great hospitality at this hotel. Also in awe of the view of the Eiger! First thing you see waking up and last thing before going to sleep. The connected restaurant is also really good. Ate there both nights of my stay. My only regret is that I didnt book this place for more days, but I guess that is just an excuse to returrn. Thanks!"

"The views are incredible. I would come again & highly recommend it, however I was unaware that the hotel & entire town are not accessible by car. One must park in the valley below ( Lauterbrunnen) and take a train up to the town. Parking is about 9 Euros a calendar day (so an overnight stay costs 18 Euros) and the train which leaves every 30 min costs 7.50 Euros p/p one way. The hotel is a walk uphill from the train station, but there is a hotel shuttle (another fact we were unaware of ) that...

"the owner and son went way out to help with anything:arranging rides to places we requested,etc .we had 8 dinners at the restsurant- the meals were gourmet! By total luck we found the best small hotel with the most helpful ,friendly staff.I highly recommend it. annemarie schweitzer"

"We had some difficulties with self checkin & get the room key. After calling the receptionist, we sorted out. Also it would be useful to let people know that the lift is at side entrance side. That will save people to take their heavy cases to first floor from the main entrance. Other than that, all went well"
