"I was in the area for a conference. I must admit, I was exceptionally surprised at the cleanliness and the hospitality of the hotel. Not to their fault but my third floor room faced the street and there was quite a bit of activity and noise very late at night due to the local college students, however, even with that being said, my stay was comfortable the amenities were surprisingly nice and I was quite comfortable in my room. The only critique I have is to please not use such a large amount of...

"Clean room nice presentation for breakfast friendly staff"

"Older beautiful mansion converted to a spa hotel. Loved the decor from the 1800s. Breakfast was very good especially the fresh fruit and wonderful bacon. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed our stay."

"Staff were very helpful and nice; the room was clean and fairly spacious but some repairs were in order as the closet doors/molding were off track and in need of repair"

"The room was very clean a bit dated. However, the gravity is going through construction, which was not advertised when I booked. It was not very problematic because we were just there for one night. The staff all were very approachable and responsive. There didn’t seem to be many but the ones I did see an encounter were wonderful."

"Peaceful and quiet but wifi is spotty. Overall, the best place we have ever stayed over our 20 years of military overnights."

"Once you’re booked and make contact with the owner, you will find he is nice and helpful. Big closets but there are no hangars and bring some slippers / flip flops as there is a no-shoe rule on the carpets. The view is SPECTACULAR day and night out on the wrap around deck. His property is amazing. Easy access to the highway, Aiello’s Italian Restaurant is a quick drive and there are gas stations, a small grocery store and a Chinese restaurant (that we didn’t try) close by. Good place to...

"The place was perfect for us. It was only a half hour from Oneonta where my son played baseball for the week. It had everything we needed. We had a small request when we got there and the host immediately got back to us and fulfilled the request. We would stay there again!"

"Wow! What an amazing spot, was attending a golf fundraising event not far from the house and this checked all of the boxes. Fished, tubed in the river right off the back of the property, met the very friendly neighbors that happened to be home. Will definitely be returning before next years golfing trip!"

"Clean and cozy! Perfect place for the weekend to attend a family gathering! Will definitely come back!"

"Everything was as advertised and more than met my needs. The home is in an older neighborhood which is very quiet and felt comfortable. If I am in the area I would certainly stay again. "
