"The hotel staff was amazing! We had a problem with the thermostat. They had it fixed within minutes. "

"When they say a compact room they mean compact. No table or chair. Barely enough room for 1 suitcase. The shower was so small when I bent over to was my feet my head pushed the door open. Wouldn't recommend compact room if you were a couple on a longer stay. Nice and handy to restaurants and shops. Staff were very friendly. Highly recommended adding the breakfast to your stay."

"Very convenient to the airport. The shuttle was a good help also. Property a bit dated but linen on the bed was nice and everything clean and what we needed. The swimming pool was a bonus. Restaurant on site too, but from what we could see, not really options for gluten free customers. Noisy guests in the hallways woke us up. We would stay again though due to convenience and reasonable price. "

"The location was fantastic - very convenient to the SkyBus terminal for transport to the airport as well as close to the Trams and Trains. Appreciated having elevators, clean rooms, a small fridge and coffee/tea making. Property is a bit old/dated, but the pluses certainly outweighed this for us."

"Value wise, you get what you pay for. Carpets were stained as were curtains. Showers had no pressure and took a long time for hot water to arrive. Room was comfortable and had all you need. But for foodies location makes up for all this"

"Very convenient if you’re attending a show at the Palais. Bed good, room clean, great shower! Large, comfy communal lounge area. Small annoyance - air conditioner and fridge a bit noisy. Close to lots of cafes and restaurants. Short walk to Acland St."
