"Location was great - very walkable! Friendly staff and breakfast was included which was wonderful. Included coffee, tea, water, orange juice, pastries, buns with ham and cheese, yogurt, etc…
Rooms were clean and they had quite powerful A/C. However, there was a mildew smell in the rooms (probably from the A/C). Pillows were great but the beds were pretty firm. They also have an elevator which is great if you have large luggage.
My only note is that there was lots of noice in the very early...
"Great location and friendly staff. The breakfast was very well served. Very good for traveling as a couple! The only downsides were the lack of pool towels and the external lights and noise, especially from the automatic air conditioning at night."
"What a terrible experience. The property requires an access code to enter the rooms and I didn't receive the access code for my first night. I spent more than 2 hours with hotels.com support while they tried to contact the property to get me into the room. I also tried contacting the property myself but they did not answer.
I did get into the property the next day but it left a sour taste in my mouth.
Worst of all, I contacted hotels.com for a refund and they said they cannot do it because...
"Really enjoyed our stay at this property, it’s in a great location for exploring the city but also with good transport links to get to the airport.
The property itself was great and just what we needed as a group of 5 friends."
"Our stay at covelo was exceptional, the room was clean and very comfortable. Our top floor room had a view of the city and the river! Our host Beatrix gave us many suggestions to take advantage of the surrounding hiking trails as well as the many restaurants. Breakfast was supplied by the café across from our and will give you a great start to your day 😀 we would definitely stay there again! Thank you very much 😊"
"They have roaches and know about it and won’t give you a refund. They continue to allow people to book with them while knowing the place is infested. Expedia doesn’t care either. DONT BOOK"
