"The first thing to say is "WOW", what a great place to stay - the entire place was beautiful and was such a perfect stop on our trip to Sicilia. The room was so nice and comfortable we didn't want to leave. The food was incredible and the host were just over the top awesome !!! We are very picky when we travel about cleanliness, value and customer service - we were so pleased that everything was even better than advertised - we will absolutely stay here again when we get the chance !!!!...

"The property and room was basic but adequate, with access to a private terrace on the roof, though the area around it was not so picturesque, surrounded by blocks of flats. The staff were very helpful and the lady in charge even drove us to the bus station herself when we asked for a taxi. The breakfast also was very good, variety and served attentively."

"Villa Carlotta is surrounded by well-kept lovely gardens, with a good sized swimming pool to swim and relax by. There was plenty of parking space too, inside a locked entrance for added security. The room was good, but the bathroom was showing signs of a little age and could do with a freshen-up, however it was clean and ideal for our one night stay. In the morning the breakfast was nicely prepared by the attentive owner, outside under a light awning which was very peasant indeed. It was just...

"We had a great time! The owners were so kind and offered to pick us up at the train station upon our arrival. Breakfast each morning was fantastic, the rooms were incredibly spacious and clean, and the shower was great. Very quiet as well. Keep in mind that the city is hilly and the hotel is uphill. Very close to the main strip but just know that if you have any walking limitations. I personally loved the small workout I got each time I came and went! I would absolutely stay there again."

The Villa is by itself in a rural area, but only a few miles from a town with restaurants. We had a room for three and it was spacious and had a nice wraparound deck with nice views of the countryside"

"Staff is excellent. Good atmosphere. But it is not a hotel. It is a b&b. And the access is complicated. You have to use two elevators and two flights of stairs to get to your room."

"There are no problems with the bedroom, the property owner, or the management. (Do call or text with your exact arrival hour, though.) The biggest issue you may have with this place is reaching it with your suitcase wheels intact, because you are going into the old part of Agrigento and depending on your approach angle, you may be dealing with seemingly-endless bumpy walkways, staircases, and roads which allow one car at a time. There are two main walking ways to get here and if you're coming...

"The owner has an attitude and he is a jerk, but the rooms are newly renovated and very modern. The beds are horrible, but that’s what you get in Sicily no matter where you stand. Now the best part. This little place has a world class chef named Costanza Gaetano. This man was extremely friendly and cooked me two incredible meals. He even has his own cookbook. You can check him out on Facebook. It’s not a bad place to stay, but if you’re in San Leone, you have to stop by and try his food!"

"A lovely lady providing accommodation in her large and ancient house in the centre of the town. Our top floor room was spacious and well equipped and our hostess was quick to give us information and advice. There's no parking provided but we were able to find a spot quite close by. Would have liked to stay longer!!"
