"The host is friendly, she sent a welcome e-mail and instructions early and responded on questions quickly. The house is a few km out from Avesta on river bank, nice and quiet. One rents a one room + kitchen + shower/wc whereas there may be other guests renting other parts of the house. The house and the furniture are pretty old, but fully functional (dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, etc.) It is the perfect place if one looks for a peaceful corner, wishes to make food oneself...

Allt var mer eller mindre stängt och det som anges i beskrivningen av hotellet såsom bar, resturang etc. är ej igång (”bar”/reception stängde 18.00). Vi blev hänvisade till en pizzeria på 30 min gångavstånd genom ett industriområde som närmsta middagsalternativ. Inga övriga besöksmål på orten var öppna under den period vi besökte Ramnäs, vilket är klart synd då det finns så mycket av svensk industrihistoria förknippat med...
