"The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The room was spacious but not very clean. There were a few items that were missed. For example a cobweb that was left in the doorway. Some socks and food left behind by previous guests. However, the hotel is located a short walk from a key tram stop and was near several food places. I would say overall we had a good stay and it worked well for our family."

"Amazing hotel. We had a lovely first floor corner room with direct views of the canal. Gorgeous window on two sides opened fully for wonderful evening breezes. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff was lovely and always willing to answer questions. I would stay here over and over again!!!"

"The staff was very friendly and answered many questions about the hotel and Ghent. They provided a great guide with a map of Ghent - we loved it as it had a summary of each site we visited. There was complimentary water provided. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. There was a variety of fruits, cold cuts, cheese, pastries and more. They would make you a hot dish from their menu that is included (fried eggs, bacon, potatoes,...

"Lovely boutique hotel just outside the city centre (which is exactly what we wanted). Just off a lovely canal and easy walking to city centre and very close to bus stop making arrival by train and bus connection easy. The hotel was clean, well maintained and rooms were nice. Breakfast onsite was nice with good variety and is convenient since we discovered tha tplaces don't seem to open very early for breakfast in Belgium."

"A very nice hotel with all facilities .The tram is nearby for visiting the city center.It was vey peaceful.Tea ,coffee and water was free to residents.The breakfast was excellent and also offered a good choice. The staff was very pleasant and helpful,helped us nicely to find places .Overall we had a very nice stay at HOTEL CHAMADE"

"Staff very helpful, parking available and we were able to park a large mini bus at the rear of the property, we were late arriving at 19:45 and we were able to eat in the hotel as we wanted something to eat close to the hotel. Room had air con. World Cup match was available to watch too - bonus"

"When I arrived the hotel was locked and unstaffed. There was a number to call posted on the door which was unobtainable. There phone number on the hotel website was not answered. I sat in a nearby park for an hour and when I returned the door was opened and a man was there to check me in. I pointed out that the mobile number posted on the door was unobtainable, but he didn’t seem concerned. When I left the same number was posted on the door."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff were warm and friendly. Location is perfect, close to the restaurants and bars but far enough away for it to be quiet at night. We will definitely be back!"
