"Staff were very friendly and helpful, great to have a chat with about the area.
Accommodation was exactly what we needed and a good choice of dinner options."
"The public areas were a bit dark and gloomy. The bedroom was hot and stuffy even with the windows open. Some furniture was quite old fashioned but the bed was comfortable enough. The food was OK but lacked better wine choices. The breakfast was a bit too greasy. Staff were friendly and helpful."
"This was a great location for me to visit Galashiels. Its a lovely old manse building with nice clean big rooms and comfy beds. The owners of the guest house were on site, very friendly and welcoming. I had a sound night's sleep and woke to a lovely cooked breakfast with all the trimmings. I couldn't fault my stay.
There is plenty parking but lots of free street parking nearby anyway so no issues there. I wouldn't hesitate to book again."
"Convenient location bang in the middle of Selkirk. Hotel has a nice bar and restaurant with attentive and friendly staff. Breakfast very good but, at £35 a head, very expensive."

It is on a caravan and camping site which our friends in another cabin were quite disappointed in as they assumed it was a bit more rural .
Little additions like tea coffee sugar , cleaning products etc were much appreciated though .
Hot tub was very...
"Very disappointing. I paid £98 for a very basic twin room for 1 night. Only 1 bed was made up and room was clean but very dated, and the property and grounds have seen better days and are overall quite scruffy. No TV in room but was told I could watch TV downstairs if I wanted to. The shower didn't work properly - either scalding hot or dribbled out cold water. Sink took ages to drain, noisy radiator. Was only given 1 small bath towel and 1 small hand towel. Hosts very friendly and was a very...
