"This refurbished hotel is near Glacier Park. It was originally called the Isaac Walton Inn. New owners have done a great job of renovation. It also has several remodeled caboose rail car accommodations. We stayed in one of these on an earlier trip with our two young grandsons and they loved it! A very friendly staff. This new remodel just opened Labor Day 2024"

Everything for our wood burning stove was all ready to go, and we were thankful because it was very chilly and damp outside. "Although the temps soared to the high 80s in Glacier National Park during the days, the evenings were cooler and there was a fan to move the still air in our room. The quaint old hotel was the first built by the railroad to transport guests from the east to the new national park and it is still a perfect accommodation, even without TV and A/C!"
