"Easy check in actually checked in earlier than 4:00 p.m. no problem construction outside in the road which is not the hotel's fault. The bed was good but I think they could use some mattress topper as the bed was a little too firm. The place was clean room was good they have a bar downstairs in the lobby which is nice. Just a good experience other than the bed. Woke up Bones were aching back was hurting. Just a suggestion to get mattress toppers for the bed"

"Check in was fast, we actually registered online. Parking was a little confusing, not well marked but we worked it out. Lifts to upper floors were fast. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Bathroom was well supplied with toiletries and towels. Very comfortable stay"

The property is amazing, Shelter Island is great, the amenities are top notch and the overall setting is spectacular but what made it truly special is the service. "Had issue with check in. Nothing sent to phone as stated because of limited cell service in area. Had to go to office to get room and code. They have wrong room and had to go back for correct room. This was frustrating because it was after the check in time, which is later than most properties. The unit was fine, bare bones with decor etc. shower in one bathroom was leaking. I have stayed on property few times. This time was definitely less impressive."
