"We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Butterfly. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the on site restaurant. Hotel Butterfly is conveniently located within a ten minute walk from the Zermatt train station but the location on a side street is very quiet. Our room had a beautiful balcony."
"The hotel staff are wonderful, and the food is really good. We had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and everything was delicious. The spa was extraordinary—such a relaxing experience! Overall, everything was perfect, and we really enjoyed our stay. ❤️"
"Property had a great location with a short walk to the train station and town. We requested a room with a view that did not disappoint. Hotel was clean and quiet. We enjoyed the wellness spa although hours were limited. Breakfast was adequate. It would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the common area. Hotel also charges for transport to and from the train station which is about equivalent to a taxi."
"We stayed in a quadruple room with Mountain Views (not Matterhorn). Which was perfect because as soon as you walk outside there is the Matterhorn! The hotel is right next to the bridge with the perfect Matterhorn view. Make sure to get up at sunrise to catch the glow! Breakfast had a large selection which was included. It was close to the Matterhorn museum and shopping. Also a short walk to the Matterhorn Express cable car. We took a taxi to and from the train station. Otherwise we walked...
"The location is awesome since there is a direct view of Matthorn peak from patio. The view also comes with challenges since it is high on a slope. But the hotel owner is very kind to offer both free pick up and free sending in taxi service to the train station, which we really appreciate! The breakfast is very nice too. We enjoyed the stay very much!"
"I requested a room with a balcony and Mountain View, which is exactly what I got... balcony faced the Matterhorn, and had a table and chairs which was wonderful.. Breakfast was good, and location was perfect... would go again"
