"When they say a compact room they mean compact. No table or chair. Barely enough room for 1 suitcase. The shower was so small when I bent over to was my feet my head pushed the door open. Wouldn't recommend compact room if you were a couple on a longer stay. Nice and handy to restaurants and shops. Staff were very friendly. Highly recommended adding the breakfast to your stay."

"I've stayed here numerous times. However, this time the room was not as clean, and no lamps by the bed. So it was either very bright lighting or leaving the bathroom door open for filtered light. Heating was excellent. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Hadn't been cleaned up to normal standard. But will stay here again, as I'm hoping it was a once off. "

"Two night stay in the heart of Melbourne. Great location, very walkable. Only challenge which unfortunately we did not have an opportunity to report due to the lack of a 24 hrs reception was the high pitched sound from the refrigerator and the rattling of the in-room heating. This drove us crazy. We needed to keep the bedroom door closed due to the painful noise from the refrigerator."
