"I had an excellent stay at the Sligachan Hotel. The hotel is steps away from breathtaking scenery for walking or hiking and a quick bus/car ride to Portree for shopping and dinner. Martin, the manager, was so helpful and kind. He drove my friend and I from Portree to our train because the bus schedule that day was not aligning well with our train schedule and morning activities. "The cabin we stayed in was lovely with spectacular views. It was cozy and had everything you could think of. Close to restaurants and food shopping and a great jumping off point for touring the Isle of Skye. Great place !"

"Thia hotel was really nice. In a very quiet area in Isle of skie. I loved the landacape, the old building and how they repserved everything. It is true it doesn't have elevator but it is not a reason to discredit all the plus and how comfortable they made us feel. Breakfast was really good and service exceptional. "

"Booking in was very easy. There was an envelope left inside the door with my name and room number on. The room was lovely - not huge but big enough for 2 with a lovely bathroom, nice thick towels and hand soap, body wash and shampoo and conditioner in the shower cubicle. The heated towel rail was a nice touch making the bathroom nice and cosy so you weren’t coming out of the shower to a cold room ( nothing worse) There were tea and coffee facilities too with a nice biscuit on the side! "Staying at Gleann an Ronnaich proved one of then highlights of my extended time in Scotland. The extra special touches made such a difference - a face-washer and shaving cream in the bathroom, very comfortable room & lounge area topped off by exquisitely crafted and cooked hot breakfast. Nothing seemed too much for the hosts, and close to town (Portree) too. Highly recommended!"
