The Maribel apartments in Puerto del carmen was one of the cheapest options and it suited us both fine. "Get what you pay for , accommodation very basic and dated , doesn't bother me as it's only somewhere to sleep , breakfast was enjoyable in the more modern restaurant,pool fine and excellent location for venturing out ,Lots of restaurants n bars nearby "

"The weather was lovely averaging on 22 degrees everyday (30th Dec to 5th Jan 2024). The apartment was lovely and very clean. We had a lovely sea view. The grounds are kept nice and clean. The beach is about an 8 minute walk away. The only negative I have is that our room wasn’t ready from 2pm like stated. I would definitely return for another stay! Great value for money. "

Television only had bbc news in English but you're on holiday and can catch up when back home. Food in restaurant was delicious and had different theme every night."
