"On arrival at the hotel, we were given a room at the Flora 2, the complex just across the road from the main part of the hotel, with all ground floor apartments. Entry was via the patio door, which was quite rickety and awkward to unlock and lock. That became a serious problem a couple of nights in, someone managed to get in the room while we were sleeping and stole my daughter's shoes, 2 power banks and our bags. They take into account preferences/requests as I always prefer a ground floor with terrace and have been allocated exactly this both times. "We had a short stay here and it was pleasant. We had a bungalow which was quite large. It was clean, linen was clean but the pillows were awful. There was also no aircon in the bedrooms. The bungalow was dated, ripped sofa and old kitchen. The gym isn’t really a gym, a couple of very old machines and a few light weights.
The pool areas and communal areas were clean and tidy, breakfast was great.
Not a bad location as you can walk to the beach and local restaurants in 5 mins."
"I have visited Lanzarote loads and have always stayed in Puerto del carmen. However, after my visit to these apartments I will definitely be back. I booked last minute and I have honestly never stayed in such an amazing place for the price. If your looking for a chilled out time the I recommend you stay here. My only negative if there has to be one is that there is. Omar conditioning but this would not stop me going back"
