"great view and cute town!"

"Wonderful views from this hilltop hotel, but it's a long, steep walk back from the beaches! We took the hotel bus down to the beach and walked back after spending some time at the port. It's isolated, but there's a free bus from/to Toyohashi Station. The breakfast and dinner buffets are great, and much of the hotel has been recently renovated. Unfortunately they have changed the afternoon times for the onsen so that women have access to their part at 3pm but men from 5pm, which we found...

"Located in Mikawa-Miya, not bad place to stay for the price. The hotel is little old but my room was large and provided nice breakfast buffet service. Location is great - right behind the Mikawa-Miya train station and some places to eat and convenient store near by. "

"Walk uphill at end of day after sailing was a grind. Self imposed as the hotel offered shuttles at various times. Could not have been more helpful but you have to be prepared for very Japanese experience. Try the restaurant in the hotel. Not well advertised but very attentive waiter. "

"Great dinner and breakfast. Enomous amount of food, including steak, lobster, fish, pork, rice, soup, dessert. Roof top onsen has a great view. The hotel is also walk distance to a famous sunset viewing spot. The room is a little bit old but clean and nice."

"From check in to check out the staff, room, and amenities were top notch, as you would expect from the Japanese service industry. For those that are looking to stay here but don't speak the local language, there didn't appear to be English speaking staff on hand. But it is Okazaki. Not really a tourist destination.
