"A lovely historic hotel in the heart of Lausanne. The hotel is in an attractive old building but the rooms are stylish, modern and very well equipped. Because of environmental regulations they do not have air conditioning but our room had a very effective fan which was more than sufficient. Excellent breakfast choices and very friendly reception and waiting staff. The location is very convenient if you are using public transport being near the Flon metro station and just one stop from the main...

"Lovely boutique hotel close to the station and centre of town - an easy walk. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Shower worked well and some toiletries were included. The breakfast was great and the staff were friendly.
My only (small) issue was that the hallways are a little empty with an open stairway at the end so noise can echo around. I could hear other guests leaving their rooms in the morning. I still gave the hotel 5 stars though"
"The wording on Expedia about the front desk being unattended is a bit unhelpful ... the host is available on the sixth floor, but the requirement to call him on xtn 600 was buried in the notice on the front desk.
Otherwise very good, easy to find and easy car parking..."
