"The hotel itself was modern and sophisticated. The rooftop patio was the largest I’ve ever seen with plenty of seating and attentive staff. The check-in process was a little clunky if you’ve never stayed here before. As we learned, you walk into a bar/living room-type vibe. As we discovered, you checked into your room at the bar, but since it was unmanned, we wandered around for a while until we found a staff member who reoriented us back to the bar to check in. "Upon arrival, and AFTER check-in, we were informed that that the ski facilities and onsite restaurant would be closed during our stay. Despite efforts by Hotels.com to assist, we were unable to receive any refund...even after only staying one of the two nights. Long story short, when booking with this resort, make sure that amenities (such as dining) and that facilities (such as skiing) will be available."

"The Garden room had very comfortable bed and pillows, and nice towels, a TV and small Fridge. View of river, with deck was nice. The building is old...older than it looks in pictures. Some of the furnishing in room looked pretty garage sale like. Room is small. Toilet is small and low. 2 sinks were nice, and standup shower, no bath. One thing that bothered me is that there was no sheet to protect touch from quilt. "
