"The boat harbour view was pleasant from our room.
The extra bed in the room should have been a King single, our son’s feet were hanging off the end.
The basin in the bathroom was very very low.
The shower needed a good scrub.
Better quality toilet paper,so thin."
"Great room was small but everything we needed even a microwave and sink. Was quiet and we enjoyed our stay. Very kind and helpful at reception. Will stay again."
"Very disappointing experience with the reception staff. Unfortunately, the service I received from the reception team was not helpful or welcoming at all. I approached them expecting basic assistance and courtesy, but instead I felt like my concerns were not taken seriously and that they were unwilling to help.
The reception team is the first point of contact for guests, so I believe good communication and customer service are extremely important. Sadly, this was not my experience. The attitude...
"The property appeared to be new or recently renovated, and overall, the room was spacious, clean, and located in a quiet neighbourhood. I stayed for one night while attending a wedding reception nearby.
The accommodation itself is quite basic. However, I was disappointed that some common amenities were missing, such as a mirror inside the room for guests to get dressed, a bedside alarm clock, and an intercom or phone to contact reception.
The most disappointing aspect, and the sight that...
"You can park right in front of your room.
Convienient and close to everything.
I like the fact that it has a microwave oven and toaster for cooking, biscuits, coffee and tea facilities.
The price is affordable compared to other accomodation in Wollongong."
"We had a lovely stay at Dormie House from 6th - 10 July. We had a room that was clean yet really small to be honest . There was no where to hang clothes, apart from two pegs to hang our coats on. That was a bit frustrating.
Also painters came in on the second day and the strong smell of enamel paint permeated into our room ...it was awful , I ended up with a terrible headache and went down to reception to see if something could be done. Gale , the receptionist, went into action immediately to...
"Lovely to have received lots of contact regarding arrival as I thought I would arrive after hours. Lovely greeting when I did arrive.
Basic cabin for solo traveler. Very clean. Pleasantly surprised how comfortable the bed was. The shower was great and everything I needed was in the very dated cabin. Met my needs and I’m happy to have stayed as I felt safe and it was an extremely quiet caravan park."
"Room was recently refurbished with bed and bedding were really comfortable and clean. Shower rose was unfortunately broken. This was the only negative. The room was great overall and to be near to the bistro for a very nice dinner was perfect. Would 100% stay and again and would recommend easily for an overnight stay."
