"The property is centrally located to Yale, Toads for concerts, is close to highway and train station. Great restaurants within a short walk. One recommendation would be a locked entry from the parking garage as there is direct access to the hotel room floors. The garage is also gated, but the added layer would have made me feel more secure. Overall, great stay and I’d definitely come back!"

"Hallways had dirty carpets and in dire need of replacemant. Smelled damp. Room needed an upgrade. Old wallpaper, carpet, drapery etc. Doorways leading to outside were filthy, doors and glass were filthy with fingerprints. Would definitely not recommend or stay here again. Being under the Clarion name this hotel was a great dissapointment."

"Our room was clean, which is about the only positive I can say. The neighborhood is very industrial, sometimes scary. The hotel is right next to a cannabis facility. One of the elevators didn't work the whole weekend. The wait was about 8 minutes in the morning to try to get to the lobby with the one existing elevator The advertised pool has been filled in. "Stayed here the weekend of my 50th Yale reunion. I cannot thank the hotel staff for taking such excellent care of me and their other guests. Reception was friendly, welcoming, and courteous; my room was beautifully clean and spacious, design highly functional, sleep quality excellent; breakfast was simple but good, with excellent service. I have friends in New Haven, and will happily stay here again when I come to visit them."
