"My boyfriend had a work trip so it was nice getting out of the truck from a 7 hr drive we looked around at other hotel and this one was affordable but also very nice even tho we didn’t get to enjoy the pool there was so much more we got to experience. The staff was very nice and food was amazing. If we return to South Dakota this is definitely the place we will be coming back to🙏"

"I tried calling owner several times throughout day we were arriving to tell them we were going to be close to end of check in time. No one answered and voice mail box was full so couldn’t leave a message. I messaged the owner thru Expedia as well with no response. We got there and lights were on in the house and in back. I went to front door and thankfully looked down after climbing porch steps as all the porch boards were removed and it was dark so could have been a disaster. The Hitching Horse...
