There was no chance of taking a boat trip on the river as everything seemed to have closed down, which was a shame as the boat was moored there and the timetable suggested it should have been going."

The hotel listed a restaurant but no evening meal was available. There was no information on times of breakfast or restaurants nearby. Although the hotel is in a beautiful location the hotel totally lacked character. "

"A group of five of us had a 3 bed apartment. It was really nice. We were on motorbikes. We were able to park right next to the entrance. Owner is a biker and very knowledgeable on local riding routes. Lovely breakfast too. Only drawback is it’s a few miles from Bouillon, so needed to ride into town for food. "

"A lovely small, rustic hotel in a delightful traditional village, with a host of well renovated small houses. The hotel itself is also a superbly renovated old building. The standard of catering is very good serving a decent breakfast and quite a good choice in the restaurant. "We had a brilliant stay with kind and generous host Etienne. A lovely relaxed village and Etienne made us feel very welcome with his warm hospitality and excellent cuisine - highly recommend! Beautiful garden and if you value tranquillity, a genuine sense of ' bon vivant' then book yourselves dinner and a room, and take a walk around Bourseigne - Vielle. No fancy frills just genuine warmth and a sense of fun and a life well lived. "
