"I traveled with my wife and two kids. The property is just in front of the beach and you are surrounded by jungle. The rooms are excellent, the staff is amazing and the food was delicious. It is very private and you can walk through amazing trails to nearby beaches. There is parking on site. Do consider driving a 4x4 so you can get all the way to the hotel as there is a short drive on sand before reaching the property. "Loved this property! This was a much better choice than getting a hotel for the price. It was very private with more space and had a full kitchen. Also had a nice balcony and in a great location in Santa Teresa. Not even a five minute walk across the street to the main beach."

"El Sano Banano is a block from the beach and the little beachfront community. Everyone knows each other, they're outgoing, friendly, and extremely welcoming. Their menu is exceptional, their fresh fish dishes are to die for. I would come back here in a heartbeat"

"This is a beautiful hotel right on the beach! The service is wonderful, the beach is relaxing, and it’s nice and quiet. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend! The only small caveat is that it’s a bit far from town (about 10 min drive), and once in town, taxis can be hard to come by. This is just an FYI, that you have to plan accordingly. "
