"This is probably a very nice hotel under normal circumstances, but they are currently (July/August 2026) under renovation. The construction work and noise aren’t great, and you have to walk through a long, cold under-construction corridor to get to the lobby and restaurant. I’m sure the restaurant is normally very good, but with so few guests, the food was meh. "The house itself is fantastic with great views. We were arriving late and had a hard time communicating with the hosts (via phone or email). Also, there was no sugar or coffee in the kitchen and the only store in town closed before we got there :(."
