"Hotel was worn. When we booked it said there were two outdoor hot tubs , which i was looking fwd to with recent knee surgery just to relax , and also said a full service pub and bkfast cafe on property. Went down to pool both hot tubs were closed out of order empty, wanted to eat was told the restaurants on site have been closed for years very disappointed because very dark to drive at night and no nearby restaurants. To top it off found little knatt flies in bed and bathroom. When I...
"I am big on customer service and how my wife and I are treated by staff. I have stayed at some very hi-end hotels that I won't go back to because of the way they treat people. This hotel was outstanding!! I admit I was skeptical staying at a Comfort Inn and suites, they aren't very good where I live. It was all I could find on our fall leaf excursion and the pictures looked good, so I booked it. From the moment I was greeted at check in, to the cleaning staff, the breakfast staff and anyone I...
"I liked that it was spread over several buildings and was very charming. The staff was very nice. The rooms we’re adequately appointed and comfortable."
"Very nice room with full kitchen in a desirable wooded area. The murphy bed was surprisingly comfortable. The gas fireplace heater kept the room toasty. The food at the restaurant was very good. I had a little problem with the dryer being slow to dry. The girl at the front desk was very helpful, as was the young maintenance man when we had a problem with our carbon monoxide detector. The texting with the AI/staff was super helpful."
"The room we had was very small compared to what we paid for it. It was outdated and coul have had better lighting. It was somewhat noisy because it was on the bottom floor and the water flushes from upstairs were frequent. Also, the adjoining bar and restaurant music was loud and intrusive.. The bathroom was very small and didn't have enough space for toiletries.
We did like the self serve continental breakfast and eating area, as well as the outdoor spaces."
"My wife and I have just returned from a trip to New England and we stayed in several B&Bs. This one was the very best. In fact one of the best we have ever stayed in anywhere. Krista, the innkeeper, was wonderful. She was so friendly, nice, and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious. The location is perfect for Mount Washington and the North Conway area."
