"We had a great stay overall! This was our second year staying at Deer Ridge Resort, and we ended up getting the exact same condo both times. The mountain view right from the deck is absolutely amazing. We traveled by car with 2 adults and 4 kids to enjoy the fall foliage. During our trip, we spent time at the clubhouse, took in the breathtaking scenery, and saw lots of active wildlife around—including elk, turkeys, geese, and even a bear on our drive down the mountain! "We enjoyed our stay so much we are already looking at the calendar to make a reservation for next year! The staff was very nice and helpful. The view of the lake from our room was gorgeous especially with the Fall colors. The hotel was nice and quiet at night. The breakfast buffet was delicious, especially the bacon, potatoes and the baked goods. We enjoyed walking around the lake. We look forward to staying here again!"

"Great place to stay"

"This place is not what it sounds like it is a joke we had so many problems and they did not fix one of them one was the refrigerator and we had kids with us they never came then we had bugs in our place ever came ask to talk to someone no one ever called it is done though Tex message no one is ever at the office and if you need clean towels they tell you to wash the ones you have please look somewhere else"

"Very peaceful and relaxing property. I love the view from the loft. You can watch the sun rise straight from your bed. There is a very neat mediation point just steps from the cabin. Great for prayer and a quiet moment with God. The view of the river is gorgeous too and can be seen from loft and back porch area which has two rocking chairs and an area to make a fire."

"Budget friendly and clean."

"Friendly and a great breakfast"

"The hospitality was top notch, the property just added to it thru and thru!! I will definitely be back, and I recommend it 100%. The town of Marshall will take u back to a Norman Rockwell painting of a forgotten time in America that will be remembered as soon as u are transported there! Don’t miss out on this hidden gem!!"

"Enjoyed the stay. Was nice and quiet . Would Definitely stay again."

"The place was beautiful! Every room, the kitchen, the bathrooms, and outside. The "staff" was very helpful and could text any time if we had a problem or queations."

"There’s a narrow spiral staircase that made me nervous. It’s wooden and creaks as you step. But it’s ingenuously made, possibly by hand. The cabin has lots of little touches like that that tell you it was lovingly built and decorated. The mural downstairs is the most obvious example, but there’s also an antique dresser for the master bath’s sink, etc. The hot tub was great. It has a bar that makes it possible for one person to remove the cover. The description on the Jackson Mountain rentals...
