The rooms, location and food were all spectacular and the value for money was great, I found the quality to be better than other places we stayed that were double the price. "Wonderful lodge and spa in the hillside Okaukuejo, Namibia. They upgraded me due to COVID to a beautiful modern room with a speckling of antiques. The staff was attentive and warm. Food was excellent! Massage and a pool day was a nice break. Did a late afternoon game drive and a morning trip to see the Himba tribe. Wish I had stayed longer! "

"We booked a tent room on booking but when we arrived the lady told us that the price that we pay is only for the campsite so we had to pay more to have the tent, even if it was not written like that on booking. She was really nice, the tent were comfy and the bathroom okay. The restaurant is not really a restaurant since you don’t really have a choice, no wifi when we came."

"Lovely country lodge with private rooms. We liked the kitchen gardens at each chalet. Pleasant (if rather cold!) swimming pool. Enjoyable dinners and the sundowner balcony was sublime. Overall memory is of every single member of staff going the extra mile to be friendly and helpful. "

"If you ride to the lodges you think what will this be? After the 8 km sand road you will come in a small oasis with an amazing friendly, helpful, hospitable owner who wants to help you with everything. This is really a gem and you have to visit this place and stay a night."

"My family had a fantastic stay at ongava . The staff, particularly Ismail , anticipated our every need . It was a true luxury The game drives were always amazing and our guide , Sylvanos , was incredibly knowledgeable about the animals as well as the fluora and fauna . He even found a spitting cobra - the man spotted everything. The black rhino and baby as well as the pride of lions at the watering hole were the cherries on top . !"

"Epacha could be used as an African Lodge in a movie set. Our accommodation was spacious and comfortable. The reception/dining area was enormous with plenty of elegant touches. The staff were as helpful and attentive as they could be. I highly recommend it. Visitors should be aware, though, that Epacha is some distance from Etosha - around 50 kilometres from the Anderson Gate. "

"Just incredible. The service, food, and overall experience was on point in every way. The wildlife sighting was amazing including for us black and white rhinos, elephant, giraffe and many more. Our guide Tuly was profoundly knowledgeable and it felt like we were getting a crash course in zoology and conservation on top of a really entertaining time. I only wish we could have stayed longer. "Die beste Unterkunft unseres Namibiaurlaubs. Marianna und Piet waren sehr herzliche Gastgeber, die alles für das Wohlergehen meiner Freundin und mir gegeben haben. Das inkludierte Frühstück und Abendessen fiel sehr reichhaltig aus und war absolut lecker (ihr solltet nach dem Kürbis in Zucker fragen!!!). Das Gasthaus ist eine Oase in der zur Zeit sehr trockenen Gegend, die voller Charme und Erinnerungen steckt. Für Exkursionen jeglicher Art kann ebenfalls gesorgt werden."
