"Beck's Bed & Breakfast is a sweet jewel of a place in a remote region of the Crooked Tree Wildlife Refuge (a birder's paradise). Robert and Becky are warm, incredibly knowledgable hosts and provide a respite from the hustle and bustle of vacation stress and more tourist dense areas. If you love birds and plants and two sweet dogs you will love staying here. They had Christmas decorations galore so we didn't miss out on the Christmas spirit. We wish we could have stayed longer. "Une magnifique piscine et un endroit très calme au bord de l’eau. Nous avons très bien mangé au restaurant Maracas de l’hôtel. Nous sommes passé par l’hôtel pour réservé la visite de Lamanai. Le top. Le bateau est venu nous chercher endêvant l’hôtel et le guide Coconut Pit était incroyable. À recommander absolument. "

"This is a beautiful hidden treasure of a spot. The staff was fabulous and would definitely recommend BEVL to any bird watcher (new or experienced). Lenny was a delightful guide full of information and a ton of patience. This place even has shoe rags for anyone that ends up with yucky hiking boots"
