"The rooms are lovely , very clean and modern , the showers are excellent and the overall standard of the Hotel very good . There was a distict lack of staff at breakfast where i warched one woman stand waiting for at least 15 mins .waiting for someone to help her ."

"Lovely hotel and staff were so friendly and polite. Very dog friendly with a large bit of grass directly outside the hotel to walk your dog. Food in the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was simple but delicious "

"We checked in extremely late, but there was desk staff , and the process was very quick. We were only in the hotel to sleep as we had a wedding nearby. We were in the newer building which is functional and clean. The rooms in the original building though looked amazing. Wood panelling everywhere and a real stately home vibe. Our package didn't include breakfast. Parking was plentiful. When we check out a lovely lady (I didn't get her name) gave us some amazing recommendations. I would like to say thank you to her. She recommended Dean Castle in Kilmarnock. We spent a wonderful few hours there. Thank you so much for your advice"

"Check in was awkward as I couldn’t pay by chip and pin or contactless. Required my 16 digit card number. Hotel room was clean and well equipped. Breakfast staff very friendly. "

"Single room.I called it the tiny room with the tiny bed but it was perfect for one.The shower was unexpectedly big and bathroom spotless.Space to hang clothes.Tv.Blackout blindes. The bar was fun.Locals very friendly and helpful."
