A delightful walk into town and from behind the Federal Palace fine views may be had across the River Aahre and over to Alpine peaks half covered in snow in the autumn. "The room provided to the family of 4 was really spacious and the staff was amazing and very close to the train station which is really a factor if you have few check in luggage with you. "The gentleman who checked us in did a superb job giving us all the information that we would need, much appreciated! Bern hotel stays include a voucher for the tram, and the number 9 tram runs nearby and often and it is a great way to get to and from the old town. We chose this hotel for the parking availability which worked well as we arrived early in the afternoon. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was satisfying. "I stayed at the new Annex so everything is nice and Zen. There are no toiletries so please take note. It is really just opposite of Neuchatel station separated by a small road. If I were to nickpick, I hope that they can rotate at least one of the dishes at breakfast. I stayed facing the river. Oh, it has air conditioning that works how you want it to be so it will be great for Summer."
