"Fabulous location and just next door was a wonderful restaurant, le Francois, but they were so under-staffed, the waiters literally ran through the restaurant to serve the people on the little deck in front of it and sitting out under the lights in the center of a square. The parking garage was tiny and intense. We felt certain that we must have gone into the wrong one. It was like someone's personal basement. "We only stayed one night in Angouleme and this was the perfect base! Gorgeous room, comfy bed, large bathroom with lovely shower and perfect location to walk to the centre. We drove and parked in Les Halles car park (just a few min walk from the apartment), I did see a few reviews saying this was tight but we found it fine with our SUV. Reasonably priced too. Also really appreciated the lovely coffee machine in the room! "
