"Very convenient for Byron town centre, just 5 minute walk to shops, restaurants, beach etc. Quiet despite being on the main road into Byron. Everything in the room required for a 2 night stay."
"The Byron Beachcomber is a fantastic place to stay. The generous apartment sizes to the cleanliness was great. With helpful staff. Also within walking distance to town centre & beach."
"A cool retro hotel close to the heart of Ballina. Room was super clean and very comfortable. It was nice to sit in the afternoon sun on the sunloungers on the grass...we did both afternoons with a glass of wine.
The host suggested a French restaurant in the town centre which was also fantastic. The Wharf restaurant is also a must do
We enjoyed our stay in Ballina.
Only 1 suggestion....issue parking spots per room as it was annoying to come out of our room with cars so close to our door we could...
"The accommodation was generally clean, but I was surprised by the strong smell of dogs when we entered the room. I also noticed a dog bowl on the balcony.
I specifically chose a no-pet accommodation because my children have allergies, so I was concerned and confused by this. Although the room was clean overall, the strong dog smell made me question whether pets had previously stayed there.
I hope the accommodation can look into this, as a pet-free environment is important for families with...
"Lovely clean well equipped room, larger than normal with good tea and coffee facilities. If there was one thing missing it’s no usb outlets so bring a charger.
I’d definitely stay here again."
"The room was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. We also enjoyed the thai around the corner and coffee shop which was open from 5am. Overall, a very convenient and pleasant stay. Just avoid having a room 1 to 3 and its close to the street and right above the restaurant which didnt quiet down til 10:30"
"The bed was comfortable. The fridge was good enough to freeze the Esky bottles (not all motel fridges manage this). Plenty of bench space in the kitchen area. The hot water though never got very hot."
"This is not the place to rest or sleep. Blinds don’t close properly and there are bright white lights that shine through all night and keep the room lit. As well as being located on a very busy motorway. (That tourists wouldn’t know about) Trucks and traffic will wake you up several times a night. Plus you’ll hear every cough, sneeze or chatter from your neighbours.
Staff were all lovely. But 0/10 stars for getting any rest or sleep.
Easy to check I . And easy to park. But won’t stay again."
